Part 8: The Exposure

Gary lunged for the laptop, but Frank grabbed his arm, his grip stronger than it had been in years. "It’s over, Gary. The truth doesn't stay buried forever. It grows. It comes back."
As the slides continued, the reality of the situation became impossible to ignore. People began to realize why their children had been sick, why the gardens had withered, why the water had tasted strange for years. The "loyal employees" in the room looked at each other in horror.
Hannah took the microphone. "My name is Hannah. Ten years ago, I was kicked out of my home for being pregnant with a man who dared to tell the truth. That man was Leo. He was your friend, your colleague, and he was the only one with the courage to stop this. He was silenced. But he left behind the evidence."

She turned to the crowd, her voice ringing out clearly. "You can blame the company. You can blame the board. But you have to blame the people who chose their convenience over your health. My father was one of them. But today, he’s choosing something else."
Frank stood tall. "I am turning over all of this evidence to the federal authorities," he announced. "And I am starting with the man who orchestrated it all." He pointed a finger directly at Gary.
