When Elena received the news that she was going to be a grandmother, she wept tears of pure, unadulterated joy. That evening, she sat with Victoria on the terrace of the coastal estate, the sound of the ocean waves crashing gently below them.
"Are you afraid, Victoria?" Elena asked, holding her daughter’s hand.
"Not of the responsibility, Mother," Victoria replied, looking out at the moonlit water. "But I want to ensure she grows up knowing the difference between arrogance and true power. I don't want her to ever mistake her privilege for superiority."
